The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) is delighted to announce the recipients of the VTech Innovation & Sustainability Award (2025/26). Established through the generous support of the VTech Group of Companies (VTech), this prestigious award recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful impact through their sustainability-related Final Year Projects (FYPs).

On 9 July 2026, five finalists were invited to present their projects at the VTech Headquarters before a distinguished judging panel comprising Dr. Allan Wong, Chairman and Group CEO of VTech; Dr. King Pang, Group President of VTech; Mr. Andy Leung, Chief Executive Officer of VTech Contract Manufacturing Services; Mr. Hillson Cheung, President of Telecommunication Products of VTech; Prof. Shauhrat Chopra, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of SEE, CityUHK; and Mr. Andrew To, Associate Director of the Development Office, CityUHK.
Following the individual presentations, a prize presentation ceremony was held to celebrate the finalists’ achievements and recognize their contributions to advancing sustainability through innovative research and project work.
SEE extends its warmest congratulations to all award recipients for their exceptional accomplishments. The School also expresses its sincere appreciation to VTech for its continued support and partnership. We look forward to strengthening this collaboration in nurturing future sustainability professionals and driving innovation for a more sustainable future.
