Partial differential equations lie at the intersection of analysis, geometry and mathematical physics. Research on regularity, singularities and qualitative behaviours of solutions draws on ideas shared across elliptic equations, fluid mechanics and variational problems. These connections motivate the proposed conference, which will bring together researchers to exchange recent developments and explore common challenges in PDEs.

The conference aims to share recent advances in PDEs and related areas, discuss open problems, and develop research collaborations between CityUHK and other universities. It will also provide students and early-career researchers with opportunities to learn from and interact with international experts.
