Course Aims

To understand heritage conservation: basic tenets, international principles of conservation, global trends, and various aspects of conservation policy; and to apply conservation principles and practices on heritage buildings. The course emphasizes the student’s ability to formulate special study areas in building and urban conservation and conduct case studies or special studies of the subject matter.
