Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU)
The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) set up the Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU) to fund local universities to support their start-up teams in starting technology businesses and commercializing their R&D results since 2014. In addition to the original TSSSU funding, ITC has introduced the TSSSU+ to provide dollar-to-dollar matching funds to start-ups that have demonstrated good growth potential through securing investment from the private sector. So starting from 2023 to 2024, we will have two TSSSU funds: TSSSU-O, the original Scheme, and the TSSSU+.
CityU is calling for the application for the TSSSU-O and TSSSU+ for 2023 to 2024. Eligible start-up is invited to apply for the TSSSU-O or TSSSU+ funding. Please refer to the following three documents, as attached, for details of the TSSSU funds and proceed to apply if you are eligible and interested.
To apply, please complete the following procedures.

- Complete all sections of the attached TSSSU Annex A application form with the authorized signature signed and the company's chop stamped in SECTION E of the form. Please send the completed original Annex A with the hard copies of all supporting documents as stipulated in Section C of Annex A to the following address before the closing deadline at noon, 31 October 2022. Late submissions may not be shortlisted for consideration.
