Mentorship Scheme

Starting a business may not be easy. It would be even tougher if you are doing it alone. With the HK Tech 300 Mentorship Scheme, start-ups will be guided and coached by mentors from relevant business fields to help them meet real-life challenges along their entrepreneurship journey.

The mentors are seasoned entrepreneurs, industrialists and professionals from diversified industries and backgrounds. They include the members of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC), Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA), CityUHK Eminence Society, CityUHK Business & Industrial Club (CUBIC), etc.

Mr Wan Wai-on has over 26 years of experience in internet entrepreneurship, executive management, business development, sales and marketing and fund raising. He has in-depth knowledge of internet field business model development, corporate financing, digital transformation, Metaverse solutions, marketing positioning strategy, team building, product design and user experience.

Mr Wan has led teams of over 500 people in creating multiple “pioneering first of its kind” of Internet projects in Hong Kong and mainland China. He is a creative thinker, energetic, strong leader and seasoned mentor, tech savvy and detail focus. He actively explores disruptive solution in new technologies and pragmatic applications to serve the business world.

He also has great experience with multiple 0 -1 start-up processes with a result-oriented mind and forward-looking vision that allows market analysis capabilities.
