Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program
The Joint Bachelor's Degree Program between City University of Hong Kong and Columbia University offers students an international undergraduate educational experience – a program spanning two continents, in cosmopolitan cities that allow students to engage directly with the world around them.

Professor Xun-Li Wang, Head of the Department, visited three PHY students in New York City who are currently enrolled in the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program with Columbia University. CityU Students admitted to the Joint Degree Program spend their third and final years at Columbia University, and earn a Bachelor of Science degree from CityU and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University at the end of their study.
Mr. WU Peilin arrived at Columbia in the fall of 2017 and is still thrilled with the new learning environment. Messrs. SONG Yuan and CHEN Yuanhao are in their final years. Both have done well academically and have already made plans for further studies upon graduation. Professor Wang briefed the students about the latest changes in the department and the students also shared their student life at Columbia University and provided a feedback on the differences in learning styles.
