The BIOHK2024 Convention was held at Hall 3D & E of HKCEC from 11 to 14 September. CityUHK was delighted to be the Platinum Sponsor this year, and Professor SUN Dong, the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, visited our booth. BIOHK2024 was an exhibition that explored the future of healthcare, environmental sustainability, and bioengineering.

The AUTM Training Courses in Hong Kong 2024 was held successfully on 20-21 August 2024 at City University of Hong Kong (CityU). We express our sincere appreciation to our esteemed instructors Dr. Cindy Chepanoske and Mr. Daniel Dardani for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise with participants.

CityUHK researchers and entrepreneurs had an outstanding showing at the 2024 Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF) held from July 26 to 28 in the Santa Clara Convention Center in California, bringing home 5 prestigious awards, including 1 Semi-Grand Prix and 4 Gold Medals.

28 researchers from CityUHK attended the Reception for Innovation and Technology (I&T) Awards 2024 organised by the Innovation & Technology Commission on 15 July.

The CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG) took place from June 19-21, 2024. CityUHK was glad to be part of this important dialogue to showcase 9 innovative technologies aimed at driving environmental sustainability

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) triumphed at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (IEIG), earning 36 awards, including a record-breaking result of eight Gold Medals with Congratulations of the Jury, contributing one-third of Hong Kong's total amount for this award. 14 winning teams were HK Tech 300 start-ups. Many of these award-winning inventions are ready for commercialization, and we invite you to the Geneva IEIG 2024 Awardee Presentation Day for potential investment and collaboration opportunities.
