About the Position
General Accountability:
The primary purpose of this position is to follow methodologies, perform analysis, and interpret samples.

The position will be responsible for:
• Performing laboratory testing for Environmental or Food samples;
• Performing analytical methods and associated tasks;
• Carrying out tasks independently in performing sample preparations and associated tasks;
• Performing housekeeping duties as required;
• Undertaking training to broaden the range of preparations and testing;
• Calibration of equipment as required by the laboratory quality documents;
• Performing other tasks as directed by the Section Manager/Chemists.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Good computer skill with knowledge of Excel, Word;
• Multi-tasked, organized and detail oriented;
• Proficient English/Chinese verbal and written communication skills;
• Able to work well in team and has problem solving capabilities.
• Knowledge/experience on using laboratory equipment (eg. GCMS, LCMS, ICPMS, ICPOES, FIA, TOC, UV or Discrete Analyser) and working in a laboratory environment are advantages.
Require Qualifications:
• Diploma, Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, Biochemistry or other science related subjects;
• 0-1 years working experience;
• Environmental laboratory experience preferable but not a must.
