Connecting to the World Performance: Celebrating the Diversity of Southeast Asian Dance
Southeast Asian Mask

Delight in the graceful, shimmering elegance of Indonesia's Tari Lilin; feel the pulse of the lively castanets in the Philippines' Jota Manila; revel in the playful sophistication of Malaysia's Tari Inang and Joget; and be entranced by the gentle, flowing gestures of Laos' Sao Dance. This gala presents a captivating showcase of Southeast Asian dance forms, each movement and melody carrying the essence of ancient kingdoms, spiritual beliefs, and enduring community traditions.

Led by renowned international dance master Madam Surianty Liu Chun Wai, an extraordinary ensemble of overseas and local dancers weaves a vibrant tapestry of Southeast Asian dance. Honouring the unique spirit of each culture while uniting us through shared expressions of grace, storytelling, and community, this performance connects hearts across borders. Join us in celebrating the breathtaking cultural diversity that illuminates the shores and highlands of the region.
