Duties
The appointee will focus on developing functional materials for healthcare applications and contribute to a dynamic and efficient R&D team. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting formulation and product development in functional materials, particularly organic synthesis;
Characterizing composite materials using techniques such as FTIR, TGA, and DSC;
Evaluating mechanical performance and processability of formulations;
Coordinating and executing on-site trials;
Collaborating with research staff on various R&D projects; and
Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Organic Synthesis, Material Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines;
Experience with PVC processing and characterization is an advantage;
Hands-on experience in various R&D activities;
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
Positive attitude with strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills;
With sense of ownership and accountability for work; and
Good command of English and Chinese, with strong skills in report writing, presentations, and literature/patent research.
