Giving Back to the Community with
Yoga Fun-Hour in CityU Student Residence

Contributor: Mr Yeung Chi Wai [Student Residence Office]

Yoga fun-hour series is a 10-week event connecting various residents to join for their physical health and mental wellbeing. The Cultural and Sports Committee of CityU and Student Residence Office (SRO) are committed to keeping this event a regular Saturday morning routine.

In the event cum Closing Ceremony, Professor Raymond CHAN, Vice President (Student Affairs), Professor Henry CHUNG, Dean of Students, Dr. Wilson LAM, Director of Student Residence, the Residence Masters, and twelve friends with hearing loss from the Hong Kong Association for the Deaf enjoyed doing yoga exercises with our residents. This event allowed student residents from various countries to give back to society by connecting with the youths with hearing loss through exercising their bodies and mind together.

After the yoga session, Professor Henry CHUNG led the hearing-impaired youths to have a tour of Hall 10, introducing them to the hall's operation and room facilities.
