CityU Student Chapters was established in May 2021 to strengthen our students' cohesiveness and sense of belonging with the Colleges and Schools. This initiative is committed to facilitating knowledge exchange, nurturing leadership skills, and developing career aspirations in related disciplines. Student Leaders from individual Student Chapters pledged to serve and promote their very own College or School and the University with pride!
CityU Student Chapters Kick-off Ceremony 2021 was held (in compliance with social distancing measures) to celebrate the establishment. Student leaders from respective Student Chapters shared their aspirations on organising activities and benefiting their fellow schoolmates.
Professor Way KUO,
President of the University, Professor Raymond CHAN,
Vice-President (Student Affairs), Professor LO Tit Wing,
Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs), Professor Eric Chui,
Dean of Students, Dr Tim WONG,
Director of Student Development Services, and Academic Advisors of respective Student Chapters shared their thoughts and beliefs with the Student Leaders during the Ceremony. The Ceremony offered a chance for staff and students to exchange views and encouraged future collaboration between Student Chapters. The event ended with an effective persuasion and presentation training workshop conducted by Dr Royce YUEN, a renowned marketing consultant.
Stay tuned to the learning opportunities and activities offered by Student Chapters of your College or School!
