Course Aims

This course aims to teach basic video shooting and editing techniques for mass communication. It provides students with a working knowledge and skills on:

1) pre-production preparation including creating a shot list, writing a treatment and a storyboard,
2) video creation such as the concept of shot styles and shot composition, and
3) video production including shooting and editing and exporting videos that can be used for corporate videos, advertising, public relations, news reporting and documentaries.
