Course Aims | ||||||||
This course aims to offer students the opportunity to conduct research under the supervision of distinguished professors at world-class research institutes or universities. During the designated period, students will engage in hands-on projects across various disciplines in an international setting. Students will collaborate with leading researchers, gain valuable cross-cultural experiences, and enhance their academic and professional skills. Through this course, students will learn to work independently, apply and integrate knowledge acquired from other courses, think critically and creatively, and communicate their findings. | ||||||||

The student's performance will be evaluated by the supervisor in the host lab. Upon completion of the research work, the student is required to deliver an oral presentation and submit a written report, with evaluation being conducted by faculty members of the home academic unit according to the comprehensiveness and competence of technical knowledge and understanding of the research topic. To pass a course, a student must do ALL of the following: 1) obtain at least 40% of the total marks allocated towards continuous assessment (combination of assignments, pop quizzes, term paper, lab reports and/ or quiz, if applicable); | ||||||||
