The EngD Seminar provides: 

i. a cooperative learning environment in which students from different cohorts of the programme can mix, interact, challenge and support each other throughout their EngD candidature;

ii.formal periodic forums for the EngD students to: 

- broaden their knowledge and expertise;

- present their research findings and share their learning experiences with their peers and academic staff;

- cultivate critical thinking and stimulate generation of new ideas;

- help promote research culture among the EngD students; provide first-hand interaction with experienced engineering management professionals on contemporary issues.
