New technologies, planetary sustainability imperatives, and geo-economic realignments are reshaping the landscape of innovation and entrepreneurship. This course prepares future founders, intrapreneurs, and innovation leaders with research-informed frameworks and data-analytic toolkits to design, test, and scale transformative solutions across borders. Students will critically engage with advanced theories of innovation systems, deep-tech venturing, and algorithmic governance; apply evidence-based methods such as design science and venture capital analytics; assess the geopolitical, ESG, and ethical dimensions of emerging ventures; and develop an investable global venture concept by leveraging the dynamic innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Hong Kong.
