Course Aims

The aims of this course are threefold:

  •  to stimulate an understanding of the current state of global information systems in terms of their development, their capability, and their role in corporate and government strategy; 
  • to explain what global information systems are in terms of theory and practice; 
  • to give a foundation for the appreciation of how new types of information system will be likely to influence and change global business practices.

Examination: 50%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
Min. Continuous Assessment Passing Requirement: 25%
Min. Examination Passing Requirement: 25%
 

Examination

A written examination is developed to assess each student's competence level of the taught subjects.


Note: Students must pass BOTH coursework and examination in order to get an overall pass in this course
