Course Aims | ||||||||||
This course provides an introduction to the frontier of computational economics, particularly the application of numerical methods to solve a set of macroeconomic, microeconomic, and financial models. The course covers linear and nonlinear equations, finite-dimensional optimization, numerical integration and differentiation, and applications to solving static and dynamic models in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and portfolio choice. | ||||||||||
