Course Aims | ||||||||||
This course aims to enable students to (1) understand research methods and findings of biological psychology, with an emphasis on the brain-behavior relationship, (2) apply research findings and theories to explain real life experiences, and (3) generate new ideas through critical evaluation of theories and research findings in biological psychology. | ||||||||||

GenAI is allowed to use in one of the assessment tasks: presentation of term project (10%). Students can use GenAI tools to (1) conduct proof editing and (2) brainstorm and generate initial ideas. The presentation is considered to be a formative assessment aiming to improve the term project report which will be submitted several weeks after the presentation. Although students are not allowed to use GenAI tools in the two quizzes, they are permitted to bring with them a "cheat sheet" (A4) with notes written on both sides in view of the large amount of information to be memorized for the quizzes. | ||||||||||
