Withdrawal or Termination of Studies

A student may withdraw from studies or be terminated studies by the University on various grounds.

  • Nonetheless, it is our responsibility to inform the Immigration Department of a student's withdrawal or termination of studies no later than 7 days from the termination/withdrawal effective date.

  • Upon withdrawal or termination of studies, the student will be required to leave Hong Kong in 4 weeks from the effective date of termination/withdrawal.

  • The University will also notify the Immigration Department of non-local students' suspension of studies and approved periods of leave of absence.

If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the page contents and the Academic Regulations (AR), rules and guidelines, the AR, rules and guidelines shall prevail.
