Course Aims | ||||||||
This course aims to introduce students to prejudicial attitudes and discriminatory practices in everyday life and the use of human rights and other perspectives in tackling discrimination and promoting equality in local, national and international arena. Students will also explore various approaches in working with self-help and advocacy groups to promote social inclusion and respect for diversity and to apply empowerment and anti-discriminatory/anti-oppressive practices in social work interventions. | ||||||||
