There are three maritime and transport related mooting competitions under the Centre, namely the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot Competition, the IASLA Space Law Moot Court Competition and the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition.

The Centre encourages students to participate in these international moot court competitions. The participation in these competitions provides opportunities for students to develop advanced research, writing, advocacy and analytical skills.

Although the Centre was only established in March 2010, its mooting teams have already achieved outstanding results on the international stage. The Centre, through this involvement, seeks to achieve international excellence and pre-eminence for its students.
