Prof. Edwin Tso and his team received the Grand Prize at the HKIE Grand Award 2024

Prof. Edwin Tso, School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at CityU, and his team that composed of other 3 members from the industry won the Grand Prize under the Innovation Category (Sub-category – All Member Group) at the HKIE Grand Award 2024. The award-winning project is titled “iPaint AI and Related Best Practices”.

The project is the electricity-free cooling technology “iPaint” that applied in conjunction with AI technology, along with other related best practices (i.e. GIS, IoT and BMS). This innovative technology enhances the operation of cooling tower and effectively leads to significant energy savings.

Congratulations to Prof. Tso for receiving the biggest award at the HKIE Grand Award 2024!
