The Information Day held on 7 Oct 2023 was a great success for the MNE Department. We were all very excited to have the event delivered in full-scale physical mode since 2019, so we could interact and communicate with the visitors with our jackets at our exhibition booth. This year, it was our first time to have a robot demonstration by Prof. YIN Peng and his team in the morning session. The University has received around 20,000 visitors (including prospective students and parents) during the day.

We have organized two Admission Consultation Sessions, Alumni Sharing Sessions and programme talks in the areas of Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Nuclear and Risk Engineering. There were also two guided tours to our laboratories and the CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre respectively. The talks and tours have attracted over 250 participants on the Information Day. Same as last year, we have invited one of our current PhD students (who was our former M.E. graduate) to share some tips and experience with our visitors. I would like to thank all the staff, faculty members and students who have contributed to this important event in their weekend holiday.
