叶豪盛教授 Prof. Horace Ho-shing IP

简介(Introduction)

叶豪盛: 男,讲座教授,现任香港城市大学主管学生事务的副校长, 兼任多媒体软件工程研究中心核心研究员。他还是及香港城市大学多媒体及 互联网技术创新应用中心的创始主任。叶教授于1997年至2003年担任香港城市大学电脑科学系主任,2008年至2009年 担任香港城市大学创意媒体学院院长,2009年至2011年担任香港城市大学研究生院院长,以及香港城市大学 副校长(Research & Technology)。叶教授的研究兴趣包括图像分析、交互式多媒体、模式识别、虚拟环境及电子 化学习技术,在SIGGRAPH、Ars Electronica、International Symposium of Electronic Arts (ISEA)、ACM Multimedia等顶级期刊及会议上发表了200多篇论文。2007年,叶教授被美国时代周刊公认为世界杰出创新者之一, 同时被CNN、BBC、CAN、RTHK等媒体广泛报道。叶教授还曾担任IEEE Transactions on Multimedia、Pattern Recognition、The Visual Computer、The International Journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications等 顶级期刊的编委,以及Pattern Recognition Letters期刊的Area Editor。叶教授 是IEEE Computer Chapter(Hong Kong Section)的主席,以及IAPR、HKIE、英国IET与British Computer Society会士。
