Law Library Courses (Semester B, 2011-2012)

Another series of training is organized by the Law Section in semester B with the objective of reinforcing and expanding our users' research skills. The workshops this time will cover the following topics:

  • Locating and noting up cases and legislation
  • Finding Hong Kong, UK, PRC legal materials
  • Locating maritime and air law resources
  • Searching full text commentary on key areas of law
  • Citing legal authorities
  • Using law databases, Lexis.com and Westlaw International

How to sign up for these training sessions?

  • Programme or course based training
    These sessions are for students of the respective programmes and courses only. As students are automatically signed up for the training, so no separate registration is required.

  • Training for all law faculty members and students
    Registration is required for these sessions. To register, send an email with your name, CityU ID number and the session you want to attend. Email address: lblaw@cityu.edu.hk. We will reply to confirm your registration.
