CityU Electronic Theses and Dissertations in CityU IR (for open access)

CityU Theses Online (CityUTO) provides online access to the abstracts and tables of contents of CityU research postgraduate theses and taught postgraduate dissertations available in the Library, dating back to 1990. The full text of all research postgraduate theses and some taught postgraduate dissertations is also available online to CityU staff and students.

Browsing CityUTO

Theses and dissertations covered can be browsed by title, degree and department.

Searching CityUTO

CityUTO can be accessed via the Library Catalogue where theses and dissertations titles can be retrieved by standard search criteria such as author, title, subject and keyword.

Important Notes on Accessing CityUTO:

• The full text of most of the theses and dissertations is currently available to CityU staff and students only. Selected research postgraduate theses are for open access via the CityU Institutional Repository.
  
  
• Netscape Navigator 4.08 or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 or higher as well as Adobe Reader are required to view the theses and dissertations.
  
  

• To view the full text, you have to authenticate yourselves by entering CityU ID number and PIN when prompted.

  Help on PIN:
  The PIN is the password that you use for viewing your circulation record in the CityU Library Catalogue.

  If you do not have a PIN, please go to the "View Your Circulation Record" page in the Library Catalogue to create one. In case you have forgotten your PIN, please go to the Circulation Counter of the Library for help.
