Fast Printing Service Guideline for Notebook Computer

Fast printing service is available in the Library for providing fast, high quality Black/White and Color printings. It is a charged service to supplement the existing quota-based printing service with the following purposes:

  • Provides self-service printing in both Color and in Black & White;
  • Supports high-volume printing at fast speed, and
  • Provides low-cost printing when the allocated print quota is used up.

Seven high performance printers of same model called "Library Charge 01", "Library Charge 02", "IS Charge 01", "IS Charge 02", "IS Charge 03", "LAW Charge 01" & "LAW Charge 02" are used for the service. Fourteen print queues are created for providing optimized settings for Black/White or Color printings.

To increase user convenience, we have added this printing service to notebook computers. User can submit their print jobs through the notebooks anywhere.

They can then release the print job and pick them up at the release station using their network connection accounts at a time of their choice within the same day.
