This course will create an engaging learning experience through the exploration of ideas and the solution of significant and real problems. The course contents include:

  • Basics of electronic components and units
  • Basic design tools, such as flow chart and block-based programming
  • Practical problem solving skills, such as mind-map
  • Introduction of current developments in the discipline
  • Marketing factors for product design


Activities include lectures, hands-on electronics and software labs, and group projects. The teaching and learning activities will emphasize the importance of integration of theories with knowledge learned from  professional hands-on practices for students to develop solutions to real world issues.
