New Procedure for CityU Staff Only Web Pages

Until now, reading of CityU Staff Only Web pages is allowed only via a PC or a workstation which is connected to the staff network. To enable reading of such information from off-campus while maintaining the level of access restriction, a new user verification procedure using username and password has been implemented.

Now, when a Web browser is used to view the restricted page, it will ask for the username and password pair. Once the system verifies that they are correct, access right will be granted to retrieve the page.
