CityLink - New 28.8K Modem Pool

In addition to the existing 14.4K Modem Pool with 88 lines, a new 28.8K Modem Pool is installed. This means that CityU's members can now have quicker and better access from home to computer resources on campus. Unlike the 14.4K modem pool, the flow control of the 28.8K modem pool is by hardware instead of software. Therefore, to use the new modems, you have to re-configure your home modem and/or communication program. If you are using PC-240 as the communication program, the steps in making the changes are listed on PolyLink's Bulletin Board #00 - "CSC Facilities and Services".
