Course Aims

This course aims to enhance the appreciation of the close relationship between human and robot. The interactions available in the past, till today and tomorrow between human and robot will be discussed. On one hand, the technology enabling the movement, vision, intelligence and sense of a robot will be all covered in this course. On the other hand, the social implication of using robots and eventually replacing some tedious and dangerous human tasks by the robots will also be discussed. The students who enrol to this course will be able to give interdisciplinary comments on when and how shall we use the robots.

Continuous Assessment: 70%
Examination: 30%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
Remark: To pass the course, students are required to achieve at least 30% in the continuous assessment and 30% in the examination
