Aims of Minor

This minor aims to provide students with basic theoretical and practical skills necessary in Information Technology and Internet disciplines. It is concerned with the design, implementation and administration of computer network infrastructures. Students will learn the impact of information technology on society, individuals and organizations.


Intended Learning Outcomes of Minor (MINILOs)

Upon successful completion of this minor, students should be able to:

  1. Explain the fundamentals of computer network and Internet technologies.
  2. Install and maintain complex routed WAN and switched LAN networks.
  3. Use necessary IT tools.
  4. Know the current trends and issues of information technology.
