The Minor in Korean Studies aims to develop students’ comprehensive and critical understanding of Korean society, culture, and politics through a range of social science, humanities, and language courses. In addition, students may participate in Summer Study Tour in reputable Korean language centres in universities/organizations in Korea to immerse themselves into the target language and culture context. The programme will enhance students’ knowledge of Korea and contribute to their analytical skills, professional growth, and career prospects.

Upon successful completion of this Minor Degree, students should be able to:

1. Demonstrate understanding of aspects of traditional and contemporary Korea.
2. Apply knowledge of Korean society and languages to their professional careers.
