In collaboration with the New York Hall of Science (NYSCI), Studio For Narrative Spaces, a research studio led by Dr. RAY LC at SCM, launched the “Self in Machine Life” project, reconnecting the cultural exchange between the US and Hong Kong with art technology performance under the pandemic. The work showcases the technology of Hong Kong to American audiences through live streaming while presenting the serendipity of the American dance scene to Hong Kong audiences, enabling the exchange of cultural identity and technological insight between US and HK in the format of art, technology, and performance.

The performance will be live on 31 October, 2021 (New York time 9AM & Hong Kong time 9PM), presented by renowned dancer Mizuko Kappa and choreographed by RAY LC, supported and inspired by Maurice Benayoun and the Neuro-Design Lab.
