In an age of globalisation, the world increasingly recognizes the complex and close interconnections between humans, animals and their environments. In order to best protect ourselves from disease outbreaks, it is imperative for professionals from all areas of expertise to coordinate on future initiatives using the One Health approach.

To tackle these pressing subjects, City University of Hong Kong, Campus France and the Consulate General of France, in partnership with four leading French higher education institutions (Grenoble Ecole de ManagementISC ParisNantes-Atlantic National College of Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Engineering; and Centrale Nantes), will organise two panels to discuss biotechnology and the contributions of veterinary medicine & engineering to the ”One Health” approach.

A focus on related new job opportunities, key skills for tomorrow’s One Health leaders and relevant academic training opportunities will be introduced throughout the debates and Q&A sessions.
