Seven faculty members from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) have been honoured as Highly Cited Researchers in 2017 announced by Clarivate Analytics.
The annual list recognises leading researchers in the sciences and social sciences around the world. It is published by Clarivate Analytics, formerly the Intellectual Property and Science business of Thomson Reuters.
“I am delighted that our scholars continue to gain in international status and that their work is having a substantial impact on society and research in general,” said Professor Way Kuo, CityU President. CityU has the second largest number of researchers in Hong Kong on the 2017 list.
Based on objective citation statistics available on the Web of Science, which stands as the most authoritative compendium of influence and visibility in worldwide research, Clarivate Analytics has assembled an updated roster of more than 3,300 highly cited researchers.
