Abstract

Are you considering writing a proposal for a new GE course? Have you already written a course proposal, but have questions about some aspects of the course delivery? Come and learn from your colleagues who have been the forerunners in the GE implementation – learn how they conceived of designing their courses, the rationale and pedagogical decisions they made, and hear insights into the lessons they have learned as they took course proposals into the actual classroom. GE teaching faculty will describe the surprises (both positive and negative) that they encountered when they designed and delivered their courses and offer suggestions to improve the teaching and learning process in Gateway Education courses.
