Abstract

Do you know how the programmes of study of the 4-year Degree will differ from current 3-year ones? Are you familiar with the term “co-curriculum”? Have you thought about the rationale behind the Gateway Education (GE) programme/courses”.

We are honoured to have the Ag VPUE and the CIO kick off our new season of STEP with a forum on the 4-year Degree. This first session will provide answers to the above and many other questions on this major educational change which will take place in less than 4 years’ time. Now that Senate has made many important decisions, the forum will explain detailed implementation matters from Faculties’ and Departments’ perspectives. Furthermore, important issues such as handling admissions and dealing with the double-cohort will be fully discussed.
