Publication Lists

Prof. Yang holds degrees from Peking University​ (B.S., Mechanics, 2001), HKUST​ (M.Phil., 2003), and Princeton University​ (Ph.D., Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, 2007). He leads research at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Solid Mechanics and Materials Science. His lab specializes in developing self-developed machine learning (ML) models​ and high-throughput screening platforms​ to accelerate the discovery of novel high-entropy alloys, amorphous metals, and 2D nanomaterials. His work transforms materials design from empirical observation to data-driven prediction.
