Research Interests

  • Intelligent Additive Manufacturing & Advanced spectroscopy and imaging
Dr. Wen is currently an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of CityU. He got the PhD degree from Rice University under the supervision of Prof. Jun Lou and Prof. Pulickel Ajayan. and he did his postdoc in Argonne National Laboratory with Dr. Gary Wiederrecht. He has co-authored more than thirty papers in prestigious journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Photonics, Nature communications, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, PNAS etc.

Actively recruiting incoming Ph. D. student, RA and postdocs in Intelligent Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Spectroscopy & Imaging.
Whose research directions include optics and photonics, 3D printing; laser direct writing; spectroscopy and imaging; robotics, control, ; chemistry, materials science, polymer-derived ceramics; polymer chemistry and physics; colloidal nanoparticle synthesis and applications, etc. are welcome to reach me via email.

Students with a master degree from C9, 985 and 211 universities and top internationally-ranked universities and research institutes are preferred.
