Dr. Qun Song is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong. She received her Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and her B.Eng. degree from Nankai University, China. Dr. Song's research areas include cyber-physical systems (CPSs) and Internet of Things (IoT). Her research aims to advance AI-powered cyber-physical systems (CPSs) and Internet of Things (IoT) systems by addressing critical real-world challenges (e.g., robustness, security, privacy, efficiency, multi-modal fusion, etc.) and developing novel sensing technologies powered by AI. She is the recipient of the 2023 MobiCom Best Community Contribution Award, the 2022 SenSys Best Paper Award Finalist, and the 2021 IPSN Best Artifact Award Runner-up.
