Prof. Linyan Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science, with a joint appointment in the Department of Infectious Disease and Public Health at City University of Hong Kong. Her research uses data-driven methods from diverse sources, including electronic health records, biobanks, large cohort studies, social media, and satellite imagery, to investigate complex health issues. She has also been actively applying AI-driven approaches to explore the emerging field of digital therapeutics, offering a comprehensive analysis of service innovation and the digital transformation of healthcare, especially for the aging population. Prof. Li holds a bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University and a doctoral degree from Harvard University. She is also the recipient of the Melvin W. First Fellowship, the Jack Meyer University Fellowship, and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Fellowship.
