Construction works in the Circular site outside Hall 3 & around Tat Hong Avenue will be carried out throughout the whole residential year. Noise/vibration within statutory requirements are expected. |

Part 3 嚙� Hall Lodging Fee and Payment Method |
||||||||||||||

Successful applicants have to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable hall lodging fee (i.e. one-off payment) through CityU Pay, by using credit cards, Faster Payment System (FPS), Alipay (Hong Kong and Mainland China), WeChat Pay, Flywire and Western Union. Failure to pay the hall lodging fee within the specified time period will imply forfeiture of the offer. |

Part 4 嚙� Room Allocation and Room Type |
||||||||||||||
Student Residence offers shared double rooms and limited number of single rooms (all rooms are shared washroom). Students will be normally assigned to double rooms. The small number of single rooms will be firstly assigned to those who have medical reasons or special needs with supporting documents enclosed in the completed application. Room assignment is for one housing year. In our residence community, residents are strongly encouraged to resolve their differences or conflicts with their roommates, flatmates or floormates by mutual respect, tolerance and communication. Therefore, residents are not allowed to change rooms during the housing year except by special request and with the approval of the Residence Masters. Applicants' preferences on room type and roommate will be considered as far as possible. However, there is no guarantee that you will be assigned to a particular hall, unit, room type, or with a specific roommate. Final room assignments will be subject to room availability and hall admission policies. Student Residence Office and the Residence Masters reserve the right to make alternative assignment decisions or re-assign students as appropriate. |

Part 5 嚙� Check-in |
||||||||||||||
1. All residents MUST complete the Pre Check-in procedure and obtain the 嚙瘠heck-in PassCode嚙� on the day of arrival in SR for check-in. |
||||||||||||||
2. Students are required to complete the check-in in person within the 1 st week of residential year. For those who fail to complete the check-in procedure, their bed-places may be forfeited by SRO. |

Part 6 嚙� Check-out |
||||||||||||||
1. The paid hall lodging fee is non-refundable and non-transferable on all conditions, even check-out from Student Residence earlier. 2. Students should comply with the check-out procedures as stipulated. Otherwise, penalty will be imposed. 3. Residents will also be required to vacate their rooms upon suspension, termination, leave of absence, study interruption, withdrawal, completion of their studies, exchange programmes or any cases that result in inactive / part-time student status. You are required to check-out the hall within 3-day upon SRO email notification and extension of stay is not entertained. |

Part 7 嚙� Penalty Charges & Administrative Charge (if applicable) |

1. Penalty charges will be levied for late check-out/ improper check-out. |
||||||||||||||
2. Administrative charge ($300) will be charged separately for those special requested approved by Student Residence Office. |

Students should comply with the 嚙� Regulations and Rules 嚙� in particular abide by 嚙� Policies of Fees " for UG Inbound Exchange Students which may be updated from time to time. |

Part 9 - Personal Information Collection Statement |
||||||||||||||
1. The personal data collected in this application form will be used by Student Residence Office to process Hall Admission. All personal data on the application form are regarded as mandatory for the aforementioned purposes. 2. You have the right to request access to and correction of the information under the personal data (Privacy) Ordinance. |
