Professor Wang Jiangyu, Director of CCCL, published an article in the newly added section, “Trends in Legal Education”, in Hong Kong Lawyer, to promote Hong Kong as the international hub for the internationalization of Chinese law. He argues that the rise of China and global power shift to Asia have created great demands at the international level for the study and application of Chinese law which however must be carried out in an internationalized – rather than Chinese traditional – manner. In this context, Hong Kong offer the most unique advantages which cannot be matched by the legal education environment in any other parts of the world.
