Ms. Bautista is co-course leader of Corporate & Commercial Practice and Professional Conduct, two courses in the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) programme.  Prior to joining CityU, Ms. Bautista worked at leading international law firms in Hong Kong. She has over 15 years of experience in project finance transactions for the development and construction of energy and infrastructure projects as well as corporate transactions involving energy assets. Ms. Bautista has been involved in energy and infrastructure projects in Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, India and the Philippines. In addition, Ms. Bautista has represented Asian and US companies in restructurings, refinancings and cross-border acquisitions in Asia.

Ms. Bautista earned her LLM from Columbia Law School in New York and her JD from the Ateneo de Manila University in Manila, both degrees completed with distinction. She is a member of the New York bar and Philippine bar.
