State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (City University of Hong Kong) (SKLMP) - ITC Fund 
Strategic research theme 3 (Ecosystem Responses and Ecological Restoration).

Duties

Assist in project management and carry out field and laboratory research work on using eDNA to monitor marine biota, especially reef fish and related macrobenthos. Conduct data analysis, write report, and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Requirements

A PhD degree in biology/biochemistry/molecular biology with no more than 3 years' relevant research experience in marine biology after the award of a PhD degree. Strong track record of publication in top international journals, good command of written and spoken English, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, being self-motivated, hardworking, and a good team player with the ability to work independently are required.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
