Applicants with HKAL, GCE A-levels, IB or other equivalent high school qualification must have passed a science or mathematics based subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied or Pure Mathematics, Engineering Science, Design & Technology, Statistics etc. (Direct Application)
For Associate Degree/Higher Diploma, applications are normally expected to have completed the AD/HD award with a CGPA of higher or above 3.0, or an equivalent overall mark or credit award in engineering or a related discipline. (Special Admissions Scheme)
Non-academic Areas
Other qualified applicants may be invited for interviews and considered for admission based on the applicants' performance in following areas:
Students admitted with HD/AD qualifications will be able to receive exemption for certain courses on the basis of their academic background.
