Abstract: In this talk, we shall review some of our recently developed preconditioned inexact iterative methods for solving saddle-point systems arising from the discretization of Navier-Stokes equations, Maxwell equations and constrained nonlinear optimizations. We shall also discuss the applications of these methods in the construction of nonoverlapping domain decomposition methods for solving three-dimensional Maxwell's equations in non-homogeneous media. Both convergence analysis and numerical results will be presented.
