Abstract: In this lecture, we investigate generalized Laguerre-Gauss interpolations in non-uniformly weighted Sobolev spaces. Some basic results are established, which play important roles in designing and analyzing generalized Laguerre pseudospectral methods for some problems on unbounded domains and exterior problems.

Two model problems are considered. The proposed schemes keep spectral accuracy. Suitable choices of basis functions lead to sparse and symmetric linear systems. Numerical results confirm the theoretical analysis.
